A new scientific paper has been published based on work developed within the WINDTWIN project.

The paper, “Comparison of high resolution model metocean conditions with in situ measurements and ECHOWAVE database around two European nearshore wind farms”, explores metocean conditions around two European nearshore wind farms. The study compares high-resolution model results with in situ measurements and data from the ECHOWAVE database.

Accurately representing wind and wave conditions is an important step towards improving metocean modelling and supporting the development of more reliable digital tools for offshore wind.
